Joe's 18th Birthday cake! What a fine day that was.

This here is Joe's Church.

Joe worked long hours and saved his money. It took a while, but he finally bought his own home. Ain't it a beauty! I believe that Buck Simpson feller got him a deal on that 'un there.
This here is Joe's car. Many people think it's the nicest one in town.
This one here is of a very special day in Joe's life. His sister Betty Lynn (left) and his brother Jimmie John (right) Finally got hitched. Joe is the one that got Betty Lynn to switch to light cigarettes while she was with child. He also bought 'em that fine home you see behind 'em. Coonchaser (the dog) was the best man, but it was a close call. Three days before the nuptuals Coonchaser ate the damn ring! Joe (being the good brother he is) follered that dog around fer three days till he popped it back out. It was just in the nick of time with only minutes to spare, but thanks to Joe (and Coonchaser) the wedding went as planned. At the reception Joe presented the couple with his present of a big old possum that he had fattened up himself just fer the occasion. A good time was had by all!
