I seen you race a lot. You and my dads friend crag English seem to follow the North East Pro Shootout. My dad build and is the former owner of the red 1969 Plymouth RoadRunner that raced with them in the 99(driven by 98 and before by Wes Gumb and Rick Eaton in 99.) season last then he sold it. since 98 he was building a 00 Dodge avng. this upcoming spring it will race for the first time. Hi Bunny, I was just browsing around to find other female racers. I haven't raced since 1987 only do to a bad crash beleive me it wasn't pretty. It happened in Spokane,Wa. Before that I raced a 66 nova with a 350 motor and 350 tranny for 6 great years. I ran mod-gas 10:80 heads up. I truely loved racing I think it can be just about as bad as any addition. I wouldn't change a thing about it(maybe my last run) ha-ha. I now have a 66 chevy nova street car beleive me its hard to stay out of trouble. I'm very new at the computer (first day) and think cars are much easier. I wrecked my pride and joy 87 I was busted up real bad but didn't cry till I saw my poor car. Good luck in your racing and every trip down the strip well be a great memory that no-one can take from you thanks for listening hopefully you'll let me know more about you. I told you that my 12 year daughter after meeting you last year was inspired by you and she wanted to drive a jr. dragster. She has to buy a different bunny everytime we come to MIR and of course at the world of wheels. To Bunny & her wonderful "Boys"~ Bunny...I suppose I should start with a "thank you!!!" first :) On a miserable rainy day at Englishtown in '94 (i believe), you were the only person willing to sit and really talk with me about my dream for racing. You told me, "...it doesn't matter how old you are, or if you're a woman...get out there and just go for it!" It was my kick in the rear and the faith I needed to believe in myself to do it. I've known it was in my blood since I was kid...but being from an all military based family, never saw my chance to run. As a teenager I settled for working on muscle cars and was SO LUCKY when I met my husband. He had been restoring Mopars for many years and I went to work with him in the shop. Motor work, body work, selling parts...reaching out to assist the avid Mopar enthusiasts in any way I can. It's truely a "labor of love" in every respect...BUT...I've still yearned to be "the one" on the track. Believe it or not...the same year I met you at E~Town...we swapped a 340 exhaust manifold and intake for a 67 Cuda fiberglass funny car body. Just the shell. This past May...we swapped a 52 Plymouth for a complete race chassis. HOOORAAAY!!! I've finally got my car!!! <goose pimples, high 5's, grins from ear to ear> ;) Last year at Cecil when we spoke...you encouraged me again by telling me you wanted to see me on the track soon. We agreed that one day we'd run'em for "poops & giggles" and I've kept my fingers crossed for the opportunity. God blessed me with the 67 & the chassis for sure ;) Thank you so much for your encouragement last weekend at Cecil and the time you spent with me over the years. I know you meet so many people, it's got to be hard remembering everyone...but please, pleeease don't forget me...BEWITCHED. I know it's a looooong way up, but I've got my hiking shoes on and my nose to the stone....and owe any accomplishments I make in the future to you & your wonderful crew. I first learned of your team last year, at Bud's Creek, Maryland. I was quite taken by all that I saw. I worked for four years doing what is typically known as a mans job, until I injured my shoulder in 1998, we are still waiting for improvement, after two surgery's I'm begining to lose hope, but I am still willing to what the doctor asks me to. I hope to see you all out at Bud's Creek this year, I have since gotten into Nascar and dragracing since there is not much I can do, it keeps me busy. Do you know if there is any plans of putting out a model kit of your car, that is where I get my pleasure these days. I have put together several Nascar models for my family and I, we all have different favorites, which means on raceday we are cheering on six different racers. Do you ever think what you would be doing now if you had not been able to go back to racing?

Hi there guys; Great site, but you knew that huh? What I really need to say is this. Do you know anyone or do you guys have... a 14-71 blower for sale? It doesn't need to be a high helix or anything fancy, we only need to run 6.30 in a dragster on alcohol and just about anything that's runable will do since we'll only need to make about 30 lbs of boost in a 540 cu in BBC. We have a small sportsman dragster and want to step up and run the Top Eliminator class which is the quickest non-professional class we can run in most of the events out here on the west coast. We've been running Super Eliminator for the past 4 years (7.90 e.t.) and my wife, who's been driving the dragster since we started 15 years ago, just wants to go quicker. (I wonder why?) Hey Bunny - Met you this summer in Jackson SC, when we filled in for Tony Carlisle. We had a great time match racing with you that night, and it was a thrill to meet and race you. We had a great year this year - got the car down into the low O's, and this weekend we ended our race season the best way - we won our first event. We had Monty Todd first round out, and his car broke down. Semi finals we had Bill Naves, and Jason tree'd him and Bill said we won by 10 feet. Finals we had Tony Carlisle, and Jason cut a .421 light to beat him. We've been racing together for four years now, this was our best season ever and just want you to know that racing with your organization was a big shot in the arm for us. Just wanted to say that we saw you at MIR on Saturday (it's now Sunday early a.m.) and wish that we could be there to see you tomorrow. (Absolutely can't...our other granddaughter's birthday.)

I wanted to thank you for being so nice to my 10 year old granddaughter, Alexis, on Saturday. You autographed her shirt and she's thrilled. She's sleeping in it right now, wouldn't take it off.

Lexi is a sweet, feminine, ten year old who just about knocked my socks off with her request to drive a Jr. Dragster (her 10th birthday present). Even though it was a 100º plus day, and she never got to the elimination round (it POURED!), she's still interested and had a wonderful experience with Mr. Putnam.

As a grandmother....before she did it...."I" just wanted it OVER WITH. I thought my daughter and son-in-law were absolutely NUTS for agreeing to it. Well, I've been converted. And I'm hoping my son-in-law will follow-through with his plan to try to build her her own Jr. Dragster. Limited funds, new baby on the way, and he's adopting her just prior to her new sister being born. So, it may take awhile.

When we walked into MIR today, yours was the first trailer that she commented on and of course had to come back to meet you. She came into the stands with a tremendous grin on her face and was just thrilled that you had said to "Keep in TOUCH!!"

Thanks so much for being so gracious...I know you had to be busy.

We look for you always....so you have to just "keep on racin'!"

My name is George Ransome. This is my first year racing. I run a big block Ford Fairmont called "The Little Southern Shaker II. I race in the Heavy class. On August 15,1999 I went all the way to the finally round. This is only my third time out in this car. I ran a 10.80 ET at 124 MPH with 510 to 520 reaction times. It's because of my Dad, who run the first Southern Shaker and the talk we had about racing 9 years ago that made me start my own racing team ( Ransome Family Racing ). Sorry for the delay in getting back with you. Business is booming and all.... Erin emailed The Lifetime TV Channel and they have emailed her back requesting more info. I have also been in contact with them as to whom I can send the video to. Also, I have spoken to the founder of RE/MAX and there is a small bit of interest. I am told he has a great deal of interest in some "other" project but will keep after him. I have also contacted Mr. Dave Thomas of Wendy's. Will let you know what becomes of that. Question for you. From the letters in the web site there seems to be a lot of people saying, what can we do for you. Have these people or companies been approached on the sponsorship agenda? Also, I would still like to get together to discuss the best way to "package" you and the boys so that I can put the team in front of as many companies as I can. I still am working to get you the sponsorship you deserve.

Let me know when you are available. I can make the drive, so to speak, and with a few days lead time, can adjust my schedule to meet you whenever.

Great web site and I hope the merchandise sales are growing daily. I have emailed a bunch of people so that they can get the t shirts they want.

Hello Bunny, I met you at the Charles Countys Working Women Day where you were the Guest Speaker. My name is Gloria Jean Johnson I work for the Charles County's Department of Public Facilities. Listening to you speak that day and meeting you for the first was truley a wonderful thing for me. You are so down to earth, free spirit, BEAUTIFUl, smart and the Best dam racecar driver in my book.
